This policy explains how Weftify handles information for the Weftify web application and the Weftify Secure Connector Chrome extension. Weftify helps sellers connect marketplace data and turn it into analytics for revenue, profit, shows, inventory, promotions, customers, and payouts.
Information we collect
Account and identity information
We may process Weftify account details such as your email address, profile information, connected platform account identifiers, and Whatnot seller identifiers needed to associate synced data with your Weftify account.
Seller analytics and marketplace data
When you start a sync, Weftify Secure Connector retrieves Whatnot seller data from your signed-in browser session. This may include orders, buyer usernames, item and listing details, show metrics, inventory records, payout records, ledger entries, balances, promotion metrics, and related timestamps and amounts.
User-directed marketplace actions
If you use listing or messaging tools, Weftify may process the listing details, image upload metadata, selected recipient usernames and user identifiers, message bodies, and Whatnot response metadata needed to complete the action you submitted.
Website and listing content
Synced marketplace data may include listing titles, descriptions, images, show titles, public item metadata, and other seller content returned by Whatnot for analytics and reporting.
Technical and usage information
We may process connector status, sync progress, resource freshness, browser extension identifiers, error messages, and application logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
How the Chrome extension works
Weftify Secure Connector runs when you start a connector action from Weftify. It opens or reuses a Whatnot tab, uses your active signed-in browser session to request seller data for sync, or to perform an explicit listing or messaging action you submitted, and sends the returned data or action result to your Weftify account.
- Weftify Secure Connector does not collect or store your Whatnot password.
- Weftify Secure Connector does not transmit your Whatnot cookies to Weftify.
- Weftify Secure Connector does not collect general browsing history.
- Weftify Secure Connector does not run continuously in the background to monitor your browsing.
- Weftify Secure Connector runs only when you start a sync, listing action, or message from Weftify.
How we use information
We use information to provide seller analytics, sync connected account data, display dashboards, calculate metrics, troubleshoot connector issues, protect the service, and communicate with you about your account or support requests.
Sharing and selling data
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate Weftify, comply with legal obligations, protect rights and security, or complete a business transfer.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, support analytics history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your choices
You can stop extension-based syncing by not starting a sync, uninstalling the Chrome extension, or contacting us to request help with account or data deletion.
